About
Joadah Design Institute is a hands-on design school at Plot 48, Church Road in Entebbe. Its philosophy is to solve Africa's challenges through design: in as little as six months, students are trained to think like designers and to act on problems rather than only describe them.
Courses include 3D architectural design, landscape design and interior design (six months each), and structural design, electrical wiring design and mechanical plumbing design (three months each), alongside graphic design. The listed courses are priced at USD 800 each.
The institute welcomes school leavers after Senior Six as well as career changers and students of architecture and related diplomas elsewhere, who come for the practical, industry-focused training.
